The vacation child ran after his sister and also wanted to cross the road. The 50- to 55-year-old accident driver got out of the vehicle after the crash – but then continued. The police are now looking for witnesses to the accident.
The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. The three-year-old was in a park with his twelve-year-old sister. The girl crossed the lane and headed for the holiday accommodation opposite. Shortly afterwards, the three-year-old boy from Germany ran after the sister between two parked vehicles and there was a collision with a passing car.
The boy ran sideways against the right rear side of the vehicle and suffered minor injuries. He was given medical attention at the scene of the accident and was admitted to the Rohrbach Clinic. After outpatient treatment, he was released into home care again.
After calling the witnesses to the accident, the driver-aged 52-year-old accident driver from the Rohrbach district reported to the police at around 5:30 p.m. Due to a press release in the teletext with a suitable vehicle and person description, she became aware that a police search is running for her.
