PHOENIX- A 3-year-old boy is fighting for his life after he was found in a backyard swimming pool Wednesday afternoon. According to the Phoenix Fire Department, the incident occurred at a home near 52nd Street and Thunderbird Road after 3 p.m.
According to authorities, the boy was found face down in the pool and unconscious. When the teams arrived, they saw family members performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The minor was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition.
It is unknown how long the boy was underwater.
