Three Women Testify Providing Sex Services at Seungri’s Home

The South Korean Military Court brought in three women to give testimony about the Burning Sun scandal that dragged the names of former personnel BIGBANG, Seungri. The three women testified that they provided sexual services at Seungri’s house.

In this case, the Seoul Prosecutor’s Office charged Seungri with brokering prostitution and offering prostitution to clients.

The first witness claimed to have provided prostitution services at Seungri’s house in 2019. He said he did not know that it was Seungri’s house, until he entered the house. He also stated that Seungri was already there when he came.

Seungri also paid for the taxi that drove him back home. He said that the payment was made by a third party.

In addition, he also testified that he had provided prostitution services for Japanese clients at Seungri’s request at a hotel in Yongsan, Seoul in December 2015.

This testimony was denied by Seungri and his lawyer. Seungri’s attorney rejected the witness’s statement stating that he did not know that it was Seungri’s house.

The lawyer said that Seungri did not even know that the woman was a prostitute.

Seungri and lawyers also never provided prostitution services for Japanese clients as stated by witnesses. Seungri’s attorney said that his client did not have this need because he was already well known and quite popular in Japan.

The second witness stated that he had provided prostitution services at Seungri’s house in December 2015. At that time there were three to four other men in the house and he was ordered not to make eye contact when passing them.

He said he was not sure about Seungri’s whereabouts at that time, but he confirmed that the man who paid for his visit was Yoo In-suk, the former CEO of Yuri Hoardings.

Meanwhile, a third woman present at the trial said that she was paid by Yoo In-suk to bring prostitutes somewhere. However, Seungri’s house was not mentioned in his testimony.

So far, the court has summoned 22 witnesses to appear before the military court. In this case, the court has been conducting an interrogation process since November 12, and Seungri’s next trial will take place on December 29.

In the next trial, the court will discuss the matter of Seungri who violated the food sanitation law and conducted illegal business at his restaurant, Monkey Museum. During the trial, the court will summon a former Monkey Museum employee to testify.

Since his involvement in the Burning Sun case, the youngest member of the BIGBANG boy band has faced eight charges, including buying prostitution services, prostitution mediation, embezzlement, and violating the Law on Heavy Punishment.

In addition, Seungri was charged with Special Economic Crimes (additional fees for embezzling an amount that exceeds a certain amount), violation of the Food Sanitation Law, gambling habits, violation of the Foreign Exchange Transaction Law, Violation of the Law on Special Cases of Punishment and others regarding Crimes. Sexual.
