Daniel Salerno, Sadia Benzaquen and Eliot Friedman, graduates of the Central University of Venezuela, appear in the ranking that evaluates the best doctors in the entire North American country.
The three were recognized for their performance in the United States, for which they entered the list of “Top Doctors 2023” that is carried out every year to select the best health professionals in that country.
“These physicians are best-in-class healthcare providers and represent excellence in clinical care and interpersonal skills,” the nominees said.
Daniel Salerno is the current director of intensive care at Temple Hospital. In addition, in his career he has obtained the “José Izquierdo Award” for Excellence in academic work awarded by the UCV.
Salerno has completed three postgraduate courses, one in internal medicine, one in pneumology and another in intensive care, at the Thomas Jefferson and Albert Einstein universities in Philadelphia. Just like a master’s degree in pharmacology.
For her part, Sadia Benzaquen won the award for Best Resident in Internal Medicine at the Central University of Venezuela.
He also completed postgraduate studies in internal medicine at the Albert Eintsein Medical Center. As well as pulmonary and critical care, including interventional pulmonology, at the Chicago Chest Center.
Eliot Friedman has more than 23 years of experience in the area of critical care and pulmonary diseases. He has a postgraduate degree in internal medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern. In addition, he specialized in pulmonary medicine, critical care, and sleep medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
