Babies and toddlers wake up too early in the morning, at least when it comes to their parents. We know what you can try to make your little ones sleep a little longer.
Many children wake up very early in the morning, much to their parents’ consternation. What can be done to make the child sleep longer in the morning?
What you can do if your child wakes up too early
Anyone who thinks that children will only cling to sleep in the morning is sadly mistaken. Fatigue from missing naps can make it harder for babies to fall asleep at night and sleep through the night.
Experiment a little with bedtime. Just push them forward 20 minutes if the child is already cranky in the evening. This way you avoid overstimulation and hopefully the offspring will sleep better at night and longer in the morning.
Maybe your child hears the neighbor’s alarm clock in the morning or it’s just too bright in the room. Maybe your child doesn’t wake up so early voluntarily.
