three teenagers wanted for incidents of anti-Semitic bullying against children – Telemundo New York (47)

Authorities are looking for three adolescent girls who they say may be responsible for a pattern of anti-Semitic bullying in Brooklyn against children.

The New York City Police Department reported that the first incident occurred on Friday, around 6:00 p.m. in the area of Skillman Street. In this place the three suspects, unidentified, approached some minors of 12 and 3 years, who were walking towards their house. Then one of the suspects reportedly slapped the 3-year-old boy before fleeing. Police added that the 12-year-old boy was not attacked in this incident.

Days later, according to the Police, on Sunday shortly after 5:30 pm in DeKalb Avenue, an 18-year-old woman and a 7-year-old girl were heading to a store when the alleged attackers approached them. The young woman was reportedly accosted from behind, grabbed by her jacket and thrown to the ground, before they fled. The 7-year-old girl was not beaten.

Minutes later, around 5:40 pm in Skillman Street, a 9-year-old boy was accosted from behind while walking and was hit in the head multiple times, according to the NYPD. The group fled on foot.

All the victims wore traditional Jewish garb when they were attacked and were denied medical attention at the scene, according to police.

The New York City Police Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the incidents.

The people are described as adolescent women, each of whom was wearing jeans and winter jackets at the time of the alleged attacks.
