TRIBUNPALU.COM, BANGGAI – A number of teenagers were arrested by the police for being involved in a beating in front of the Sental Batui market, Batui District, District Banggai, Central Sulawesi.
The three teenagers had the initials RD alias O (15), MA alias A (17), and FA alias F (15).
“They are still students,” said Batui Police Chief Iptu I Kadek Yoga Widata, Friday (12/11/2021) afternoon.
The beating started when the three teenagers who were victims were driving a motor vehicle with their friends from Nonong Village to Batui.
Suddenly, the perpetrators grabbed the victim’s vehicle.

However, the victim and his friends continued their journey and stopped in front of the market.
Arriving at the scene, the perpetrators and their colleagues approached the victim.
So there was a fight.
Then one of the perpetrators hit the victim which made his colleagues beat the victim.
The three victims, who are also students, experienced pain in the head, wounds, and abrasions from their hands to their feet.
The police who received the information immediately went to the crime scene and looked for the whereabouts of the perpetrators and secured them to the Batui Police Headquarters.
“This case has been mediated and the perpetrators apologized by making a statement not to repeat their actions,” said Yoga.
