There were 13 people in a tour on the mountain Skårasalen in Ørsta when three of them were taken by an avalanche.
– Camera rescue was started and the three have been dealt with, says operations manager Jens Dahl at Møre og Romsdal police district.
Police first wrote on Twitter that two people were taken.
None of the persons should be injured.
The tour group is now on their way down to Kvistadsætra, where the police will meet them.
– We will get a little more clarity in what happened. We only talked to them on the phone, says Dahl.
Dahl says that he has no more information about who the people in the tour are.
The landslide was about 15 meters wide and approx. 200 meters long. There is a moderate risk of avalanches on Sunnmøre on Monday, follow varsom.no.
