Three people suspected of beating participants in a special military operation were detained in the Chelyabinsk region. This was reported by the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee for the Chelyabinsk Region.
“Investigative bodies of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Chelyabinsk Region, in cooperation with the operational units of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, detained three suspects, one of whom is a minor, of committing hooliganism against participants of the SVO and their wives on January 1 of this year on one of the streets of the Sovetsky district of the city of Chelyabinsk ,” says the department’s telegram channel.
It is noted that searches were carried out and the instruments of crime were seized; in the near future, it is planned to charge the detainees with committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism). In addition, investigators are going to send a petition to the court to impose a preventive measure in the form of detention against the defendants.
