Three stumbling blocks at the future Ploumoguer childhood center – Ploumoguer

  • 1Parking
  • The municipal council of November 30, in Ploumoguer, gave a boost to the Ti an dudi project (House of the game, in Breton), the future childhood center, since the municipality voted for the preliminary draft of the architects of Atelier 121.

The representatives of the parents of pupils of the Mouez ar Mor school and the elected representatives of the opposition do not approve this latest draft which now completely encroaches on the parking lot of the public school.

Didier Pluvinage, mayor of Ploumoguer, nevertheless guarantees « the same number of parking spaces as before, in a more fragmented way ”, using in particular the space facing the future building and four additional spaces at Saint-Joseph school.

Christine David-Beausire, spokesperson for the representatives of the parents of pupils of the Mouez ar Mor school, does not believe it : « The parking lot is already full, it will be worse ”.

  • 2 Communication
  • During the municipal council of November 30, Éric Quinquis, member of the works committee and elected opposition member, left the room. He expected to see the changes made in the fall “rediscussed”.

In a statement, elected officials from the minority said: “On November 25, we noticed that the plans presented to us at a previous meeting had been changed. We then proposed that the preliminary draft not be put to the vote at the next council meeting, and to wait until we could be better informed about this project ”. The municipality retorts having made the new plans available to the town hall at the beginning of November.

Parents’ representatives, supporting the project since its inception, also report a lack of communication. “For months, we were not consulted when we could have continued to adjust the project thanks to our user experience”, regrets Christine David-Beausire. “There was nothing to communicate from October to June, retorts Isabelle Saouzanet, general manager of services. The choice of the architectural firm took time. But all the observations of November 23 were taken into account by elected officials and the architect ”. Didier Pluvinage adds: “During the last consultation, the majority of parents were in favor of the changes”.

  • 3 Security
  • A fab lab (place of digital mutual aid) and a coworking space will be hosted in a room in Ti an dudi. Christine David-Beausire is worried: “How to spot deviant adults? “. It denounces a conflict of use. The representatives of the parents of the pupils also mention the security problems linked to the use of the association room of the Coquelicots: “The room is located in the middle of the nursery area, supposed to be a closed and secure space, that outsiders must. cross to access the room ”. Joël Perchoc, deputy in charge of works, reassures: “Cameras and access control will allow users to be monitored. Entrance is from outside the school. The mediators present will be able to spot any abnormal behavior ”.

As for the existing room of the Coquelicots, partitions will guarantee an access cut off from the school space.
