The three students from the San José de la Rinconada institute championship participants Andalucía Vocational Training Skills they have been awarded in the different categories in which they competed. Prizes that are added to the prolific trajectory of prizes in previous editions obtained by students of this institute.
The championship – which began on May 4 – was closed this past Friday, when the awarded in each of the categories. The three participating students of the San José de la Rinconada Secondary Education Institute have obtained awards in their respective categories. Francisco Javier Díaz Clavijo and Javier García Carrera they have got the first prize in the modality of mobile robotics, while Jose Manuel Vaz Garrucho has been awarded the bronze medal and the third prize in the automobile painting category.

Fifteen prizes for the province of Seville
The participation of the Sevillian institutes in these Vocational Training Olympics has resulted in 15 medals in total, getting the first places in three specialties – milling and web development, in addition to the aforementioned mobile robotics in which the corner students have achieved the gold medal -. Trophies that in the corner institute are added to that of Álvaro Velasco in the modality of car painting, a student of San José de la Rinconada who was regional and national champion, in the last international edition held in Kazan (Russia).

The link of this institute with the Vocational Training Olympics comes from the year 2011, when the first regional championship was organized in this centerThe student Álvaro López Delgado was also the winner in the automobile technology category.

Biennial Championship to test the skills and abilities of VET students
From biennial celebration, the AndalucíaSkills Championship is aimed at students of the Andalusian Vocational Training courses and aims to highlight the level of development of professional skills of a technical nature and degree of excellence achieved by these students with their training in the Andalusian educational system.
In the competition the skills and abilities of participating students in a total of 26 professional specialties, with which Vocational Training is also valued. In this sixth edition they have participated 27 students of Vocational Training in the province of Seville from 18 educational centers, on 16 modalities. In total they have been 150 Andalusian students, accompanied by 135 tutors and 26 expert teachers and with the collaboration of 40 companies.
The regional champions will make up the Andalusian delegation who will play the national olympics Spainskills 2020-2021, which will be held in the month of December, and in turn the finalists of this will participate in Euroskills y Worldskills, which are also convened every two years.
