The team of DINAMO RĪGA coaches led by Pēteris Skudras has been joined by Russian coach Dmitry Parhomenko, Belarusian goalkeeper coach Andrejs Kudins and video coach from Russia Igors Makarovs, who will work together with existing coaches Raimonds Vilkots, Aleksandrs Physis
47-year-old Dmitry Parhomenko has already worked with Peter Skudra in the TORPEDO team in 2017/2018. In the previous two seasons he worked in the VHL club METALLURG Novokuznetsk, where he was both the head coach and the assistant head coach. He started his coaching career in 2006 and has been both assistant head coach and head coach at both KHL and MHL. Prior to that, he had a long career as a defender, and in Russia’s strongest leagues, he has played a total of 566 games for various teams.
During his career as a coach, 50-year-old Andrei Kudin has worked for the Belarusian Extraliga team SHAHTJOR Soligorsk, has been the coach of the Belarusian U20 national goalkeeper, worked for two seasons with the goalkeepers of KHL club DINAMO Minsk, but last season was MHL team DINAMO goalkeeper St. Petersburg. During his career as a hockey goalkeeper, he has played for various Belarusian teams.
47-year-old video coach Igor Makarov last season performed such duties in another KHL club ADMIRAL Vladivostok.
