Three people were slightly injured in the fire from their apartment in Montreuil this Sunday, January 15. The fire was quickly brought under control by the Paris firefighters, who intervened before 4 p.m. Two of the injured were taken to hospital. The house is largely destroyed, the occupants had to be relocated.
The three people were saved on their balcony while they planned to jump to escape the flames say the firefighters. According to the first elements, the fire would have started after handling a motorized vehicle by the occupants in their apartment.
The flames licked the facade of the building up to the sixth floor, but the fire did not spread. A dozen people were evacuated as a precaution through the interior of the building and were able to return to their accommodation later in the afternoon.
