GAZA, KOMPAS.TV – Three rockets were fired by the mailing list in the Gaza strip targeting the southern region of Israel, Monday (10/5/2021) morning local time.
According to a report from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the rocket launch triggered sirens in the city of Sderot and surrounding areas to sound.
Local government officials said at least one of the three rockets was intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system.

However, there have been no immediate reports of injuries or damage from the rocket launch, as reported by The Times of Israel.
Furthermore, Israel also took action in the form of closing the Erez Crossing pedestrian path to the Gaza Strip until further notice.
The rocket attack is said to be in the aftermath of Israel’s closure of the fishing zone in the Gaza Strip, which cuts off the main source of income for Palestinians in the coastal enclave.
