Three sadistic robbers who killed the taxi driver online on the Jagorawi Toll Road, Bogor, West Java, was arrested by the police. The perpetrator was caught after the victim’s stolen Daihatsu Ayla car suddenly broke down.
Deputy Head of Bogor Police, Kompol Fitra Zuanda, explained that the robbery victim had committed the crime the last match to break the car gears. This condition made the perpetrators unable to drive the victim’s car.
“After that the car was not in a neutral position, it could start but could not run because the gear was broken. Finally, the perpetrators MF and DY pushed the car up to approximately 100 meters,” said Fitra, Tuesday (4/3/2023).
At the same time, the Jagorawi Toll Road PJR officer came and approached the perpetrators because he was suspicious of finding the perpetrator pushing the car. The PJR officer then interrogated the perpetrator.
“Not long after that, PJR Jagorawi came. Then the perpetrators were interrogated after that because they were afraid DY and JA fled. Meanwhile, MF, was secured by PJR Jagorawi officers,” said Fitra.
The Bogor Police Criminal Investigation Unit received a report from Jagorawi Toll Road PJR officers immediately hunted down the other two perpetrators who managed to escape.
“Then members of the PJR communicated with us the Bogor Police Satresktim and immediately dispatched the Jatanras Team, then together with the Resmob team searched for two people who managed to escape. Thank God, before 24 hours, we secured the two perpetrators in the Cilincing area, North Jakarta,” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bogor Pokres Yohannes Redhoi Sighiro.
