Three of Neftochimik‘s representatives were at the conference of the Dutch champion PSV (Eindhoven). Marijan Nunev, Vasil Tsvetanov and Mihail Atanasov traveled to Sofia to gain valuable experience.
The main theme of the event was related to the work of children’s and youth schools, the development of talents and their inclusion in men’s football.
“Neftohimik has our desire towards sustainable growth and we want to keep up with the trends in the clubs that use their expertise successfully. Last season, PSV became the Dutch champion, and 40% of the players in the first team went through the club’s academy,” said Mihail Atanasov.
“Two whole days with coaches from the PSV academy, when we got to know the training method in detail. We discussed the mental, physical and tactical preparation of the players as well as their individual development with the aim of integrating them into the first team. We paid a lot of attention to technical training and training principles through which they make decisions on the field. After each topic, we created group workshops for ideas to discuss how we can apply these models of PSV work to Bulgarian conditions,” said the procedure at Neftochimik DSU, Nunev.
The participation of our three representatives was entirely due to our main partner “Lego Group 5” OOD.
As proven professionals in their field, they understand the importance of constant development and updating of staff qualifications.
“As a leading school in Burgas and the region, we have a clear strategy that follows a similar approach. There is already a plan on how to apply what was learned from the theoretical lectures and the practical part of the seminar to graduate to the next level,” said Atanasov.
