Three-quarters of Pukkelpop ticket holders want money back (Hasselt)

Pukkelpop could continue at full capacity. That means 66,000 attendees. Organizer Chokri Mahassine was still strong in this at the beginning of the summer. But due to the rules regarding the Covid Safe Ticket and the Covid tests that festival-goers would have to undergo, Pukkelpop pulled the plug at the end of July and ticket sales were stopped. By then, 85 percent of the tickets would have been sold.

Those who bought a ticket could choose to transfer their ticket to the 2022 edition or ask for a refund. Three quarters of the ticket holders would have opted for the latter and have already been reimbursed. (sgg)
