The Cicpc arrested three police officers accused of stealing $ 3,000 from a woman, sources with the security agency said. In this case, the detainees are: Ángel Martín Acosta Rojas (28), Neudo Luis González Paz (33), police officers from the San Francisco municipality (Zul) and Jean Piero Manvel Medina (36), chief officer of Polizulia. Miguel Tirado Román (27), a cell phone technician, was also captured.
These people stopped a Toyota Corolla last Monday on 26th street in the La Arreaga sector, Maracaibo (Zul). Ginesca María Andrade Montiel, owner of the company Super Distribuidor CA (Sudica) and her driver, were traveling in the car. The uniformed men told him to get out of the car and they proceeded to carry out a search. It is there when the police found an envelope with the dollars which they stole and took away, according to versions.
The victim reported the incident to the Cicpc, whose officials managed to locate those responsible for the incident. The recovered assets included eight bills: 4 for $ 100 and 4 for $ 20.
