Three people died after shot in a mansion near Beverly Hills California. In addition, four other people were injured.
Reported by AFP, Sunday (29/1/2023) this event is said to have occurred on Saturday (28/1) local time. Emergency services rushed to the posh address in the Benedict Canyon area of Los Angeles, finding three people dead in a vehicle parked outside.
Meanwhile four other people were hospitalized, two of whom were injured and critical.
The incident, which followed two mass shootings in California that claimed 18 lives.
Detectives investigating the attack said it happened in a “short-term rental home,” The Los Angeles Times reported.
The property where the shooting occurred is known to be not listed on the site. Police said there was some kind of meeting at the location.
“We called it a meeting, until we were able to interview some of the people who were here to determine exactly what kind of meeting it was,” said Bruce Borihanh of the Los Angeles Police Department.
“Investigators are also going door to door and looking for additional surveillance video, or any evidence that may help us determine what happened here and why these victims were shot,” he said.
