In the middle of the day on Tuesday, the State Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) received information that three people had strayed in a swamp in Jurmala. Rescuers, searching the area, found and took people to the nearest forest road.

People were taken to the Emergency Medical Service (NMPD) by transport of the State Police and municipal police, the SFRS was informed.
In order not to end up in the forest and get lost in a forest, a serious scare or even a threat to health and life, SFRS urges the residents not to forget about safety.
If you realize that you will not be able to get out of the forest on your own, call the rescuers on 112 and give them as specific landmarks as possible – where you entered the forest, how long you stay in the forest, what natural or man-made objects you have crossed or missed.
