On Saturday evening, three people, including two children, were killed in a road accident in Kurzeme, LETA told the Emergency Medical Service (NMPD).

The State Police explained to the agency LETA that the call on the third kilometer of the Liepāja-Rucava highway was received today at around 5 pm.
Road traffic The accident occurred when a Volvo truck collided with an Opel car in the front.
Three people, including two children, died in the crash.
Traffic in both directions at the scene of the accident was blocked for a long time.
Four NMPD brigades, including a team of medical specialists, worked at the scene.
