Three people were dragged and partially buried by an avalanche on Malyovitsa, warned the chairman of the Bulgarian Association for Freestyle and Extreme Skiing Momchil Panayotov on the Facebook profile of BASSES.
Fortunately, the incident, which took place in the area of Kamilata Peak in the Malyovitsa section, passed without serious consequences. On a slope with a northwestern exposure, four skiers accidentally caused a landslide when they climbed up.
Three were partially buried and managed to dig themselves out.
The front of the avalanche was about 20 meters and the length was nearly 70 meters.

There was a similar avalanche yesterday, fortunately without people being dragged in. The problem is probably in many other places in Rila ! My advice is to be very careful and conservative when choosing a route in the coming days, especially given the crisp snow that “hides” the danger and the expected good weather!
