“Since December 18, the process of resuming the functioning of the energy system has been underway. The nuclear power plants have reached their planned capacity,” — said in the message of the company.
According to Ukrenergo, the volume of electricity consumption in the country has been increasing per day, which has affected the deficit indicators in the system.
“All oenergos have defined consumption limits. If they are exceeded, emergency stops can be used, – warned in the company.
According to the regional branches of DTEK, emergency shutdowns were introduced today in the Kiev, Odessa and Dnepropetrovsk regions.
As reported EADailyon the eve of the company “Energoatom” said that all nine nuclear power plants in Ukraine are operational, but the capacity of one of them is limited to 600 MW, due to the “unwillingness of the power system to accept the entire possible amount of electricity from it.”
