The Florida Lottery announced Friday that Luis Rodríguez Espada, 60, of Miami, claimed a $1 million prize from the new 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s Miami District Office. He elected to receive the proceeds from him as a lump sum payment of $820,000.00.
Rodríguez Espada purchased his winning ticket at Liberty Calle 8, located at 8590 Southwest 8th Street in Miami. The retailer will receive an additional commission of $2,000 for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
Also this week, he announced that Martina Soto, 43, of Fort Lauderdale, and James Bruno, 55, of North Palm Beach, each claimed a $1 million prize from the new 500X THE CASH scratch-off game in West Palm Beach from the Lottery District Office.
Soto elected to receive his winnings as a lump sum payment of $820,000.00. He purchased the winning ticket from him at Pompano Discount Liquor, located at 652 East McNab Road in Pompano Beach. The retailer will receive an additional commission of $2,000 for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
Bruno also elected to receive his winnings as a lump sum payment of $820,000.00. He purchased the winning ticket from him at 7-Eleven, located at 2490 PGA Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens. The retailer will receive an additional commission of $2,000 for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
