It was during the recent annual general meeting that the Foundation presented its new headliners for its board of directors for the year 2022-2023. Marc-André Fortin, optician and co-owner of the Center Optique des Bois-Francs, Émilie Luneau-Lambert, pharmacist and co-owner of Brunet Plus and Pierre Morin, OHS coordinator at Cascades Inopak join the ranks of the board of directors with the eleven other members already active for several years. The Foundation is very proud to have recruited business people recognized in their milieu and above all also involved in their community.
These three new members will replace Sylvie Baril, Jean Houle and Réjean Roy as administrators on the Board of Directors. The À Notre Santé Foundation would like to highlight the excellent work and boundless involvement that these three outgoing members have accomplished over the past few years. They have enabled the Foundation to grow and achieve the financial objectives of recent campaigns.
Significant challenges for the new Board
With the new campaign “The hospital, our vital link” which was launched last February, the challenges are numerous for the Foundation. More than 25 projects were presented by different departments of Hôtel-Dieu d’Arthabaska. Of this number, 4 have already been funded and 15 others have been selected for future funding. In total, more than $1.5 million will be needed to carry out all these projects over the next two years. Of these projects, the largest in terms of the budget is the purchase of 12 automated medicine dispensing cabinets representing an investment of $950,000. The Foundation would also like to acknowledge the contribution of the Croteau, Isabelle, Caron Foundation, which agreed to make a very generous donation of $100,000 at the start of the year to help finance this project. “Benefit activities as well as the search for major or planned gifts will be of paramount importance in successfully achieving all the objectives of the 2022-2023 campaign,” notes Marie-Élaine Goyette, Executive Director of the À Notre Santé Foundation. .
To Our Health Foundation of HDA Hospital
The À Notre Santé Foundation of the HDA hospital is the tool that allows the community to provide our hospital with financial support in order to carry out decisive projects in the maintenance, improvement, quality and safety of care and hospital services offered to the entire population of the Victoriaville and L’Érable regions, from birth to the end of life. In addition, it raises funds for investments exclusively reserved for the Hôtel-Dieu d’Arthabaska. The devices funded by our organization remain in our hospital and it is the people of our community who benefit from them.
