With the strong growth of the Municipality of Saint-Paul in recent years, the need for a resource dedicated strictly to communications was felt and elected municipal officials expressed their desire to add this position to the organization.
The position of communication and citizen participation officer was therefore created and it is Ms. Hétu who will be able to meet the challenge of setting up this new position with her few years of experience in municipal communication.
In the Recreation and Culture Department, Ms. Brochu-Girard succeeds Geneviève Babin as director of this department. Herself a resident of Saint-Paul, she has worked in the leisure sector for years, with various clienteles. Notably at Regroupement D’Autray en Forme and atvector5, a management company for associations or organizations and mobility of people.
Following the promotion of Marie-Pier Goudreau to the position of administrative secretary, the administration department also needed a new person to join the team. Coming from the public domain, namely the Center de services scolaire de la Pointe-de-l’Île, Ms. Savoie was therefore hired as a secretarial and accounting clerk.
All municipal officials and members of the administration of the Municipality of Saint-Paul are happy to welcome these three new employees. They took office on April 4.
