Three new 4G sites are planned in Eure-et-Loir

Cédric O, Secretary of State for the Digital Transition and Electronic Communications, announces the deployment of 608 new 4G sites in rural areas.

The Secretary of State indeed signed two ministerial decrees defining these new sites, hitherto uncovered or poorly covered in mobile telephony, for which “operators Bouygues Telecom, Free Mobile, Orange and SFR will have to provide 4G coverage within 24 months at the latest”.

The 4G mobile network is gradually being strengthened in Eure-et-Loir

In order to ensure quality mobile coverage throughout the country and to reduce the digital divide, the Government indicates that it has engaged with operators, since 2018, “an ambitious plan, the Mobile New Deal, mobilizing several billion euros of investment. »

Among these new 4G sites, twenty-six are located in the Centre-Val de Loire region. Eure-et-Loir has three, the municipalities concerned being:

  • La Mancelière (Bouygues Telecom-SFR-Free mobile-Orange)
  • Langey (Bouygues Telecom-SFR)
  • Nottonville (Free mobile-Orange).

“With each new pylon put into service, the daily life of French men and women changes,” says Cédric O.
