Campos has approved a credit modification which will allow a wide series of investment projects to be carried out in the town during 2021. The amount of the works will amount to 2,814,098 euros and will include improvements in the general maintenance of the municipality.
Among the improvements to be made is the change of streetlights in the urban center of Campos. They will become LED technology, with the consequent long-term energy savings. It is also planned to carry out a general improvement of the drinking water network, as well as of the waste disposal areas.
Another project that is planned to be carried out is the construction of a car park in sa Ràpita, the provision of services to the parking lot that already exists next to the football field or the placement of a guardrail in Ses Covetes. Another part is to invest in the education sector, both in the public school and in the escoleta. These investments are expected to also result in the creation of jobs.
The funds come from the remaining treasury
The credit modification that will make Campos invest almost 3 million euros in improvements was approved in plenary session on November 26. The funds come from the balance of the City Council’s treasury and a new similar amendment is expected to be approved in March.
