Three men steal the car from a Llanera taxi driver in Gijón
A taxi driver from the Asturian town of Llanera suffered theft of her vehicle at the point of a razor yesterday afternoon, after going to perform a service at the Cancun Motel, located in the town of Santa Rosa, in the parish of Lugo de Llanera.
The alleged perpetrators of this robbery with intimidation were three individuals, who had first asked the driver to take them to a junkyard in Gijón.
The events occurred around seven in the afternoon. As the victim explained to the newspaper El Comercio, during the journey the occupants changed their destination and asked him to take them to Campa Torres and circulating on secondary roads until they reached the El Musel area and parked next to a soccer field.
Then they opened the door and put a razor to his neck. “Either you get off, or I prick you,” were his intimidating words.
The victim was abandoned at the site, but was fortunate enough to meet a young man, who lent her his mobile phone so that she could call the Civil Guard and her husband and who remained with her at the site until they came to help her.
