The police arrested three men in a car in Boxtel on Saturday with a gun drawn. Shortly before, a house in the North Brabant village had been shot at.
The police received a report that a building on Polenstraat had been shot at during the night from Friday to Saturday. Eyewitnesses said they heard several shots.
After investigating the home, police discovered a bullet hole in one of the windows. There were no casualties. According to the police, several people were standing in front of the house just before the shooting.
Later on Saturday, officers stopped a car in Prins Hendrikstraat, in the center of Boxtel. The occupants had to get out one by one while they were held at gunpoint.
A firearm was subsequently discovered in the car. The three men have been detained.
