Early this morning, three men in their 20s who were suspected of confining a man in his 20s were caught by the police.
The gang who kidnapped a man from Geumcheon-gu and ran about 30km were caught by the police here in Gangbuk-gu.
They are accused of forcing the victim, whom they knew, into a car at a restaurant in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul at about 11:30 last night and dragging her away.
It was confirmed that the victims were not injured, and the police are investigating the specific circumstances of the incident, including the reason for their confinement.

On the 28th of last month, two men in their 30s who stole precious metals from a gold and silver store in Michuhol-gu, Incheon, were caught by the police after 10 days on the run.
They are accused of breaking into the gold and silver room’s glass door with a hammer while wearing helmets in the early morning when there were few people around and stealing 70 million won worth of precious metals.
The time from intrusion to escape was only about 30 seconds.

A fire broke out on the 10th floor of an apartment in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do around 10 am today.
The fire was extinguished within 20 minutes, but a woman in her 50s was taken to the hospital due to smoke inhalation, and 77 apartment residents were evacuated.
The search for missing people from a fishing boat that capsized in the waters of Yokjido, Tongyeong, Gyeongsangnam-do continued for three days, but no additional findings were made.
The Tongyeong Maritime Police Station plans to conduct a detailed search inside the ship as soon as salvage work on the accident ship is completed.
