Three maidens in five overs in ODIs, five wickets for nine runs; Emperor shocked

Tamil Nadu beat Nagaland for fifth win in Vijay Hazare Trophy Tamil Nadu has five wins and one loss from six matches.

Chakraborty produced a career best bowling performance in the List A format. The player’s previous best performance was 5 wickets for 38 runs.

Chakraborty took 36 wickets from 15 matches in the List A format. Bowling at an economy of 4.09 and an average of 14.19, Chakraborty has a strike rate of 20.7.

There was no four-wicket performance from Chakraborty’s side in List A, but five-wicket gains were achieved twice.

Nagaland were all out for 69 runs in 19.4 overs with Chakraborty’s brilliant bowling.

Apart from Chakraborty, Ravishreenivasan Sai Kishore took three wickets while Sandeep Warrier and T. Natarajan also took one wicket each.

Tamil Nadu set a target of 70 runs and crossed the target in 7.5 overs.
