The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department arrested Three Latinos linked to a series of robberies at high-profile residences in Charlotte and other areas of the United States. According to authorities, those arrested are part of a South American criminal organization specialized in home invasions.
The suspects, identified as Alexander Angulo Panameno49 years old, Anuar Mina Noviteno33 years old, and David Alberto Caicedo Delgado34 years old, whose country of origin was not revealed, They only confirmed that they are South Americanswere captured after being caught breaking into a home. Police have linked them to at least 18 robberies in Charlotte and more than 50 similar incidents nationwide.

How did they carry out their robberies in Charlotte and other parts of the United States?
Investigations indicate that this criminal network, nicknamed “Crime tourists”operated by disguising themselves as construction workers or gardeners to avoid raising suspicions while committing the robberies. They targeted victims with specific demographic profiles and stole mainly luxury items, which Then they sent them to their countries of origin.
During a raid at a residence connected to the suspects, authorities seized a large amount of stolen items, including jewelry, watches and luxury handbags. valued at approximately $130,000Additionally, tools and masks used in the robberies were found, along with more than $12,000 in cash.
Police are still investigating the case.
Detectives are continuing to investigate other possible links of this network to additional cases outside of Charlotte.
