There will be three interns at AG2R Citroën Team from August 1, namely Thomas Delphis, Bastien Tronchon (AG2R Citroën U23 Team) and Pierre Gautherat (SCO Dijon-Team Materiel-Velo.com), learned DirectVelo.
Thomas Delphis finished this year 2nd in the Tour du Loiret (3rd in the time trial), 6th in the stage at the Tour Nivernais Morvan, 9th in the French Amateur Championship in the time trial, 11th in the time trial of the National Grand Prix of Cintegabelle or 12th of the Circuit de la Vallée du Bédat. The 23-year-old Haut-Savoyard had already been a trainee with the French WorldTeam last year.
Bastien Tronchon, 20, won the Pelousey Classic and the Tour de la Province de Bielle, Italy. On the Coupe de France N1, he finished 3rd in the Boucle de l’Artois (5th and 11th in stages).
Pierre Gautherat – our photo – won this season Dijon-Auxonne-Dijon and a stage of the Essor Breton (6th overall). He finished 2nd in the Tour du Center Var, 5th in stages in the Tour de Saône-et-Loire and the Tour de Côte d’Or, and 9th in stages in the Tour d’Eure-et-Loir (2.2 ). The 19-year-old from the Jura played last year with AG2R Citroën U19 Team.
