Three injured in two fires declared in two homes in El Gancho and San José in Zaragoza | News

An elderly woman has been injured with a reserved prognosis in a fire declared in her home on Miraflores street, in the San José neighborhood of the Aragonese capital, late this Friday afternoon. The flames started in the room on the floor of the wound for reasons that are still unknown. The woman, who was in an adjoining room, was evacuated by firefighters after performing resuscitation and she was transferred in serious condition to the Miguel Servet Hospital in Zaragoza.

And in the early hours of this Saturday, the Zaragoza firefighters have also intervened in another fire declared in a building on Miguel Ara street, in the Gancho neighborhood, which has been completely evicted. Two people, a mother and her 41-year-old son have been rescued by the troops and taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation.

“The fire started on the second floor, two people lived there who left at the time it started and the people below were evicted. It is an occupied type building, very old. completely evicted, it has been inspected and it has turned out well, because these people have been saved,” Luis Muñoz, deputy chief of fire brigade intervention in Zaragoza, told Aragón TV.
