Three injured in Beverwijk stabbing | Inland

The stabbing happened on Baanstraat, a long way through Beverwijk. A police spokesperson could not say where exactly it took place, inside or outside. The circumstances are completely unknown. A perpetrator has not yet been arrested.

“We are investigating what happened,” said the spokesman. “We would also like to hear more from the public. The urgent appeal to anyone who has heard anything in the area between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. is to call.”

Bystanders saw that three injured people were taken to hospital by ambulance. One of them was resuscitated. Police are not yet able to say anything about possible fatalities.

At least five ambulances arrived on the scene immediately after the incident. An air ambulance also turned up. Several officers are present, but the police still have many questions about the facts.
