“Zero doctor, zero care”. This is the message sent by about twenty members of the emergency room, the Smur (mobile emergency and resuscitation structure) and the UHCD (short-term hospitalization unit), this Friday afternoon, during a rally in front of the emergency room of the Montluçon public hospital which brought together around three hundred people.
“An imminent threat”
In a message read by union representatives, the staff – “from the doctor to the hospital services agent passing through the secretaries” – alerted the population to “the imminent threat of the closure of the emergency department in the days and coming weeks”.
