Three hundred children at the VII Movember Rugby Vets in Rincón de la Victoria

Rincón de la Victoria will host a new edition of the Movember Rugby Vets that will be held on November 23 at the Manuel Becerra Rugby Field, organized by the Málaga Rugby Club, the Rincón de la Victoria City Council, through the Areas of Sports and Tourism, and in collaboration with the Victoriano Rugby Club. The Councilor for Sports and Tourism of Rincón de la Victoria, Antonio José Martín, has reported that this year the meeting will host the 2nd Gradual Rugby Day of the Andalusian Rugby Federation (FAR), with the participation of eight teams from the area eastern with about 300 children belonging to the provinces of Almería, Jaén, Granada and Málaga.

The mayor of Rincón de la Victoria, Francisco Salado, has shown his commitment for another year with this event “which this year extends to teams aged between 4 and 12 years, promoting sport and solidarity through the Foundation Movember in charge of raising awareness about the prevention of prostate and testicular cancer, in addition to mental health problems that affect the male group.

The coordinator of the veterans section of the Málaga Rugby Club, Javier Mesa, has shown his satisfaction at holding a meeting that this year will begin with the children’s competition at 11:00 a.m. and will continue with the veterans in the afternoon with a day where We will celebrate activities and trophies will be awarded.

This year’s veterans’ triangular will be played between the teams of Bokerones Rugby Club, Mijas Rugby Club, and Club de Rugby Málaga. The meeting is sponsored by the Provincial Council of Malaga.
