One of the girls was first described as critically injured.
The air ambulance was called to the accident city, but the most seriously injured girl was in the city driven by ambulance to Tønsberg.
According to operations manager Jan Kristian Johnsrud in the South-East police district, this may indicate that the injuries are less serious than they first thought.
Another of the girls is said to have moderate injuries. She too has been sent to the hospital in Tønsberg. The third girl is considered slightly injured and is sent to the emergency room.
At one time Johnsrud could not say more about the condition of the girls.
According to the police, the car must belong to the parents of one of the girls and have our seat from home.
The accident happened on Vestre Andebuvei at 22.30 on Saturday night.
