Firefighters extinguished three fires in the Burgas region in just one morning. One in Sunny Beach, the other in Chernomorets, the third in Aitosko.
On April 4, at around 02:45 a.m., the Regional Administration – Nessebar received a report of a fire that occurred in an additional building in the rear of the “Palma – 1” hotel, consisting of a shed and two rooms.
It was found that the wooden beams and the roof of the shed were burnt, and the two additional rooms were partially burnt. The PVC joinery was also partially burnt and the glass panes of the apartments located on the first, second and third residential floors were cracked. The causes of the accident, as well as the value of the damage, are in the process of being clarified.
The same night at around 03:25 a.m., the District Administration – Sozopol received a report of a fire in a metal building in the “Mitkov Most” area, located in the land of Chernomorets. It was established that a 15-year-old boy, together with his friends, was celebrating a birthday in a neighboring property when they noticed the burning building and started to put out the fire with materials at hand. The fire was extinguished by a team of PBZN – Sozopol. No traces of intentional arson were found during the inspection.
On the morning of April 4, around 9:20 a.m., the Regional Office – Aytos received a report of a fire in an auxiliary building in the village of Lyaskovo, commune. Aytos, managed by a 53-year-old bourgeois. The fire was extinguished by one fire truck and three firefighters. As a result of the incident, the roof structure of the auxiliary building burned, as well as part of the roof of a one-story house along with the items stored in it. So far, there is no evidence of arson. The exact value of the damage is still being determined. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case.
