STORY – Three farms that will form the framework surrounding the future spire arrived yesterday by the Seine. One of them has already been placed on top of the cathedral. This extraordinary ballet will continue until the fall.

The “forest” of Notre-Dame de Paris is gradually taking root on the heights of the cathedral. Tuesday morning, three of the eight trusses intended to form the framework of the frames which surround the spire of Notre-Dame as well as that of the two arms of the transept were deposited, at the top of the building. In this sunny weather, the crane operation of the triangular structure, carved out of solid oak, obviously caused a large crowd around the perimeter of the monument, from the forecourt to all the neighboring quays, as far as the Archdiocese bridge.
