A historic day was the one experienced by students, administrative staff and directors of the Faculty of Public Accounting and Administration upon receiving three national accreditations for its educational programs, recognitions that continue to place the UANL at the national forefront in quality.
Three FACPYA degree programs receive CACECA accreditation
Eduardo Ávalos Lira, president of the Accreditation Council in Administrative, Accounting and Related Sciences (CACECA), delivered the national accreditations for the quality of the training programs in the “Víctor Gómez Garza” Auditorium. Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting, Degree in administration y Bachelor in International Business.
The recognitions were received by the Rector of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León, Santos Guzmán López, who in turn gave them to the director of FACPYA, Luis Alberto Villarreal Villarreal.

The president of CACECA congratulated the gathered university community and highlighted that the UANL is the only university, among the public and private universities in the country, that has the hundred percent of its nationally accredited educational programs.
“Feel proud of the UANL, since you are privileged to study in an institution with this educational quality. You will be ready to return to the family and to the country this pride of being professionals in Mexico,” commented Ávalos Lira.

Accreditation: a commitment and a responsibility
The Rector of the UANL, Santos Guzmán López, highlighted that national accreditations for the University’s educational programs are not only a recognition, but a responsibility and commitment to the student body.
“Accreditation is a commitment to academic quality that drives us to continue growing in topics such as research and innovation to train upright, competent professionals who contribute to the development of Mexico,” the university official stressed.
Likewise, the Rector thanked the president of the accrediting agency for his message to the students.

The accreditation ceremony was headed by Santos Guzmán López, Rector of the UANL, who was accompanied by Eduardo Ávalos Lira, president of the Accreditation Council in Administrative, Accounting and Related Sciences; Jaime Arturo Castillo Elizondo, Academic Secretary of the University, and Luis Alberto Villarreal Villarreal, director of the Faculty of Public Accounting and Administration.
