When in the 1990s the Germans could boast that they had borrowed from the Americans Backstreet Boys or N * Sync, the British hit with their own magazine in the form of Gary, Howard, Marak, Robbie and Jason. They were the only boy band that could compete equally with boys from abroad. But they were not like other colleagues from the industry, they had less kitsch, more emotions and, above all, they included Robbie Williams.
Unfortunately, when they were at the height of their popularity and the hit “Back For Good” hit the charts, they decided to break up. First, the unofficial leader, who caused them many problems due to his many addictions, said goodbye to the band, and a little later, to the surprise of the fans, the official end of Take That name

They made them wait almost ten years for their return. This is still not considering how long it took them to plan their only concert on the Vistula River. Just 35 years. Because the Łódź concert at Atlas Arena is the first and unique meeting for many fans. This nostalgia was visible on many faces after the first song. Tears of joy and emotion mixed with indistinct sadness: “Why did you make us wait so long there?”
And although it was not the biggest event in Atlas Arena in terms of attendance, I believe that was not the point at all. Because such an atmosphere cannot be repeated. The chairs placed on the stage stopped being important when emotions took over and everyone came to the stage. A few minutes later, they could shake hands with the three British musketeers who, under the banner of Take That, delight the audience.

Gary, Howard and Mark focused on a greatest hits medley, although the album “This Life” from 2023 is the excuse to start the tour. “Everything Changes” and the period “Nobody’s “Elsa”. There was also, of course, “Relight My Fire”, a cover that made them very popular, and a very good version of “How Deep Is Your Love “.
Above all, the gentlemen in Łódź proved that without Robbie they are doing very well and I guess the break was good for them. Because today they are able to do their simple dance pictures on the stage, and it can move the crowd to the rhythm of the legendary “Angels”. A bit like the saying: the wolf is full and the sheep is whole.
