Three Children with Suspected Acute Hepatitis Died in Indonesia

JAKARTA, KOMPAS – Vigilance against cases of acute hepatitis whose cause is unknown needs to be increased. The reason is, three children who were previously treated at the Cipto Mangunkusumo Central General Hospital died with suspicion of contracting the disease.

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Siti Nadia Tarmizi, said that the three children with suspected cases of hepatitis whose cause had not yet been determined died in different periods of the last two weeks until April 31, 2022.
