Elderly man to emergency room
– We have been told that a car was about to turn outside a kindergarten. He had backed into a tree stump and then driven down the gate to the kindergarten, said operations manager Kurt Løklingholm in the Southwest police district to NTB earlier Monday afternoon.
The driver of the car, which is described as an elderly man in his 70s, has been taken care of by health personnel and taken to the emergency room. The police have towed the car in for technical investigations.
The older man should not be connected to the kindergarten, writes NRK.
Task leader Krister Hoel says the man got lost in the area, and should try to turn the car on the square in front of the kindergarten.
Municipal crisis team
Otherwise, the kindergarten and the others are taken care of by the municipal crisis team, if anyone needs help or follow-up
By 3.30 pm, the police had left the kindergarten. It is stated that technical investigations have been carried out and that the case will be investigated.
