Three CFA apprentices from the Chamber of Trades win gold medal in Dijon at WorldSkills competition.

After the regional selection, unveiled this Thursday, March 16 in Dijon, the three apprentices of the CFA of the Burgundy-Franche-Comté Chamber of Trades and Crafts will participate in the national competition, in September in Lyon.

OUR WORLDSKILLS APPRENTICES IN BFC!

The Regional Selections of the 47th Worldskills Competition took place on Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 March during the “Explore les Métiers” event at the Parc des Expositions in Dijon.

400 passionate young professionals were in competition in more than 50 professions, of which a dozen of them are apprentices of the CFA of the CMA of the Bourgogne Franche-Comté Region in its three training sites (Gevingey , Mercurey and Vesoul).

Jérémy Barbery wins the Silver Medal in Butchery
Marin Moreau wins the Bronze Medal in Butchery
Laura Lamotte wins the Gold Medal in Pastry

On our Vesoul site:
Jules Hennequin wins the Bronze Medal in Bodywork – Bodywork
Quentin Begey wins the Gold Medal in Automotive Technology

At our Gevingey site:
Timothy Hall wins Gold Medal in Bodywork – Sheet Metal

Our Gold medal-winning Apprentices will represent the Excellence of our Region during the national final which will take place on September 14-16, 2023 in Lyon!

The Worldskills is a championship of young professionals, in high school, in apprenticeship or in employment, aged under 23, who come to measure their skills to win first place in their specialties. Three stages: a regional, national and then international course!
