A total of 236,297 examinations were performed in Latvia, of which 1,777 were performed on Friday.
The information at the disposal of the SPKC shows that one patient has returned from abroad – Russia, one patient is the contact person of another patient, but communication has been initiated with another person to clarify additional information.
So far, 1333 persons have become ill in Latvia and 1093 or 82.18% have recovered, while 33 have died, which is 2.48% of all detected cases.
In total, three patients are currently being treated in hospitals, all with moderate disease. 202 patients were discharged from the hospital, including those who had recovered and those who had died.
