Three cars were involved in this double accident.
The events took place this Sunday evening around 8 p.m. in the town of Saint-Igny-de-Vers. According to Progresstwo cars collided head-on before a third car created an accident.
An extricated victim
The toll was heavy: three men injured, two of whom were in serious condition. Extrication was necessary for one of them. A helicopter was called in to transport one of the victims to the Edouard-Herriot hospital in Lyon.
An investigation was opened to determine the precise circumstances of the collision.
