Three boys aged 16 to 18 have been arrested and charged with aggravated rape of two girls under the age of 14 in a district of Stavanger.
– The incident must have happened on Saturday, and the police became aware of the incident yesterday. Two of the boys were arrested last night, while the third boy was arrested this morning, says police attorney Christine Kleppa.
The rape of the girls is said to have happened outdoors.
– The police aim to question both the offended girls and the accused today, says the police attorney.

The police have made several seizures in the case, and have also interviewed witnesses.
– At the present time, we do not wish to go into details in the case, both for the sake of the investigation and for the sake of the young people involved, says Kleppa.
Stian Kristensen and Knut Lerum have been appointed as defenders. None of them are available to comment at this time.
– I am being questioned in connection with the case. I have no comment on the charges yet, says Kristensen.
Assistance lawyer Anne Kroken writes in an SMS to Stavanger Aftenblad that she cannot go into details.
– But based on the information I have so far, this is a very serious matter, she writes.
The police do not want to say which part of Stavanger is involved. This is for the sake of those involved, senior adviser in the Sør-West police district, Hilde Urdal Fløysvik, tells NRK.
