At 19:34 on October 26, 2023, Beijing time, the Shenzhou 16 astronaut crew successfully opened the “door” and welcomed the Shenzhou 17 astronaut crew from afar to settle in the “Tiangong”. Later, the two astronaut crews took a “family photo” to jointly report safety to the people across the country.

Subsequently, the two astronaut crews will perform on-orbit rotations on the space station. During this period, the six astronauts will work and live together on the space station for about 4 days to complete various scheduled tasks.
